About This Residency
A beautiful shreperds hut to stay in and a separate large studio to yourself. Down a long hidden drive you will spend your time in the quiet wild surrounded by nature and temperate rainforest on your doorstep. Inspiring walks all around, including through the woods to the village with a good pub and local train, and the throbbing landscape to inspire you in every direction. You have a fridge in your studio and cooking facilities and hot shower and bathroom in your hut so you can be completely independent. And a fire pit/BBQ too.
Experience & Atmosphere
You will be on your own and independent, with as much space and time as you need to gather and find what inspires you when you step away from it all. Wendy is also an artist and lives on the farm with her own separate studio space. With huge granite boulders around, birds weaving past you and quiet rest you are welcome go big and make a mess or respond simply and delicately in whatever medium you like. It's in your hands.
